«Since» o «for» (y el present perfect)
Since + el punto de inicio (since 2020); for + la duración (for three years). Y normalmente con present perfect.
- ✗ I live here since 2020. / I've lived here since three years.✓ I've lived here since 2020. / I've lived here for three years.
Since + momento de inicio
since 2020, since Monday, since I was a child
For + duración
for three years, for two weeks, for a long time
Con present perfect
I've lived here since 2020. / She's worked here for ten years.
Con verbos de acción, a menudo continuo
I've been studying English for six months.
Pregunta
How long have you lived here?

Finn dice
