Example answer
Examiner: How do you usually spend your holidays?
Good answer: “It varies, but I usually spend part of the summer at my grandparents’ house by the sea. It’s really relaxing, and I get to catch up with cousins I don’t see during the year.”
Why it works: a natural opener (“It varies”), a detail and a reason, with B2 language (“catch up with”, “get to”). Answer fully, in two or three sentences, and then stop.
