Part 2 (one of several options): you write an article of 140–190 words for a magazine or website, interesting and engaging for the reader. Examiners give up to 5 marks for each of four things: Content, Communicative achievement, Organisation and Language (20 marks per text).
How to do it
- Read the task twice and underline what you must include.
- Plan your paragraphs before you write (5 minutes is enough).
- Use the right style for the reader: formal or informal.
- Keep to the word limit and leave time to check grammar and spelling.
