Every part of the exam, with every answer explained.

How the daily challenge works

Every day there are five new questions for each level – B1 Preliminary, B2 First and C1 Advanced – the same for everyone. They practise the vocabulary that Cambridge exams test most: collocations, phrasal verbs, words that are easy to confuse, prepositions and common mistakes. Each answer comes with a short explanation, and you can share your result and keep your streak going.

Frequent questions

Is the daily challenge free?

Yes, and you don’t need an account. With a free account your streak is saved on all your devices.

Which level should I choose?

The level of the exam you are preparing: B1 Preliminary (PET), B2 First (FCE) or C1 Advanced (CAE). You can do all three.

What if I miss a day?

Nothing happens: there is a new set of questions every day, and your streak starts again the next time you play.
